was prepared by an Iowa Department of Education committee which included
several IEMA members. This model serves as a important
reference for Iowa schools.
Weeding the Library Media Center Collections,
now in its 2nd edition, has been published by the Iowa Department of Education
as a companion piece for the Iowa Model.
ALAOIF's Workbook for Selection Policy Writing
This ALA document includes an extensive discussion of the basic components
of a selection policy, suggested forms, and a sample selection policy.
